Numerous questions may arise in connection with the ticket sales, passenger checks and visa services provided by BUDPORT. Here you will find detailed answers to the most important ones.
BUDPORT’s airline ticket sales offices are available on the departure level of Terminals 2A and 2B at Budapest Airport.

BUDPORT TICKETING 2A: Located in the central section of Terminal 2A, between the two main entrances.
BUDPORT TICKETING 2B: Located opposite check-in counter 47 at Terminal 2B.
Only those musical instruments can be carried aboard, which do not exceed the dimensions of hand baggage as set by UIA. In this case no additional hand baggage is allowed (except for a small personal item: e.g. women’s purse, laptop, etc.).
Musical instruments exceeding these dimensions can be transported as baggage on an additional seat or in the cargo hold. The size of a baggage carried in the cabin cannot exceed 115x65x45 cm and weight more than 8 kg, when transported in the cargo hold its maximum perimeter might be 305 cm and maximal weight 32 kg.

The photo and the copies of documents to be uploaded can be any size; they will be optimized after uploading. However, please ensure that the size of the photo and of the copies of all documents uploaded should not be too small, since, if we are unable to optimize them in appropriate quality, we will call on the applicant to re-submit the files. This slows down the visa administration process.
BUDPORT airline ticket sales offices are open to customers 365 days a year, during the following business hours:

BUDPORT TICKETING 2B: Monday-Thursday and Sunday between 04.00-23.50, Friday and Saturday between 04.00-22.00
The airline undertakes the transport of sporting equipment for an additional transportation fee. The airline takes limited responsibility for the transport of damaged, fragile, big sized, not properly packed, tardily checked-in or oversized baggage. The weight limit is 23 kg per sporting equipment or 32 kg with additional payment.

After paying the visa fee, the data specified normally cannot be modified. If you made an error during the entry of the data, as a result of which there is a deviation compared to the data featured on the uploaded document copies, our colleagues will detect and correct this during the processing of the visa application. If we find a data error where we are unable to decide how it should be corrected, we will call on the applicant to re-submit the information in question. This slows down the visa administration process. If there is a change in the accommodation reservation or airline booking, please inform us by email on visa@budport.com, and we will notify the government office of the United Arab Emirates about the change. visa@budport.com
Airline bookings over the telephone are regulated by the terms and conditions of the given airline applicable to ticketing.

Smaller pets weighting up to 8 kg may be transported in the cabin in a kennel maximum total size of 115 cm (55х40х20 cm), maximum two animals per kennel. (With the exception of guide dogs, there is no weight limit for them.) Bigger pets weighting up to 75 kg may be transported in the cargo hold, in a kennel maximum 110x75x75 cm, maximum three animals per kennel.
In all cases, only dogs and cats may be transported provided that their total weight including the kennel does not exceed the specified weight limit and that the animals are from the same litter. The transport of pets should be announced at least 24 hours before the departure of the flight via telephone at the airline’s contact center, in addition the entry conditions of the animals should be checked.

A two-way airline booking is definitely required for the visa application. An accommodation reservation is not necessary if you will be staying with friends or relatives, but you have to specify the address and the contact details of the accommodation provider in the visa application.
The following forms of payment are available:
– Cash (in HUF, EUR, GBP)
– Bank card (VISA, MASTER CARD, MAESTRO)
– Bank transfer (subject to decision on a case by case basis)

A separate visa must be requested for children in case they have their own passports, and are subject to a visa requirement when entering the United Arab Emirates, on account of their nationality. The fee for children is not different; the same conditions apply to them as to adults. No separate visa is required for children if they do not hold passports of their own, but are registered on a data sheet with a photo in the passport of one of the parents. In this case, please be sure to upload the child’s data sheet and photo as part of the parent’s visa application.
Carrying a baby stroller is free of charge for children under 2 years only. Even in this case, only one piece of umbrella type or “Yoyo” baby stroller might be transported, placed either in the hold or in the cabin. (Depending on the airport personnel’s decision.)
In case of children over 2 years the baby stroller cannot be transported free of charge, a one-piece baby stroller is also part of checked baggage allowance. In any case, the baby stroller must be announced at the check-in desk, even if there is no other baggage to check-in, nevertheless, it is also possible to check it in at the gate.

Visas authorizing their holders to enter the United Arab Emirates are valid for a single entry. It is not possible to apply for a visa granting multiple entries to the country.
If you would like to book for a group, first of all please send us BUDPORT’s group booking form, completed. Our colleagues will request offers from the system, and will send you a detailed offer, including all important information relating to the booking. We provide individual terms for group bookings, depending on the number of persons in the group.

Only women before the 32nd week of their pregnancy may travel on Ukraine International Airlines flights. Ukraine International Airlines undertakes the transport of women after the 28th week of their pregnancy only if they possess a medical statement on their ability for air travel.

If you were already exempted from the visa requirement at the time when you submitted the visa application, on account of your nationality, we will refund the fee paid in the course of the visa application process, in full. We are, however, unable to reimburse the cost of the bank transfer; this must be borne by the applicant.
Please contact us by telephone or e-mail, referencing the order number or invoice number received during the purchase of your booking. Our colleagues will inform you in detail whether your booking can be changed or not, and if so, under what conditions.

You have to present for the security checks and boarding with the same travel documents used during online check-in. After check-in, it is no longer possible to modify the name of the passenger, the date and time of travel, or the route. If any of the data specified during online check-in is incorrect, the airline may refuse to carry you. Airlines’ terms and conditions of carriage clearly state that procuring a valid travel document, entry permit or visa is the responsibility of the passenger. If you do not have a valid travel document, entry permit or visa with you, the airline may refuse to carry you. Before making the booking, always make sure that the required travel documents are available, and that their validity should comply with the regulations of your country of destination for inbound travel.

We issue an electronic invoice for the visa application, which our system sends out to the email address specified during the application process, within 1-2 days. Of course, you do not have to do anything with this invoice, since you already paid the fee for the visa application earlier, by credit card.
Before you travel, please collect information on what type of travel document, entry permit or visa is required for you to enter your country of destination. Airlines’ terms and conditions of carriage clearly state that procuring a valid travel document, entry permit or visa is the responsibility of the passenger. If you do not have a valid travel document, entry permit or visa with you, the airline may refuse to carry you.

Visa administration usually takes 3–5 working days, but it is important to emphasize that Friday and Saturday are public holidays in the United Arab Emirates. The number of working days is based on this schedule of working days.
Yes, it is possible to add extra baggage on Ukraine International Airlines flights. No baggage might exceed the 32 kg weight limit, baggage fee is to be paid for each checked baggage, we charge the fee per baggage, passenger and flight.

BUDPORT’s employees will do everything in their power to make sure you receive your visa authorizing you to enter the United Arab Emirates.
The airline clearly sets the size limits of hand baggage and obliges the ground handling services to comply therewith and to make the passengers comply as well. Unfortunately we do not have such discretion that would allow us to pursue equity in our own competence.

This is normal in case there is more than 35 calendar days left until the date when you are due to travel. However, if there is less than 35 calendar days left, the visa is usually ready in 3-5 working days.
Of course you do not need to pay a surcharge, and can take your cabin bag on board.

According to the Ukraine International Airlines’ regulation passengers need to have a printed or digital boarding pass. In case you cannot present your boarding pass, a fee for printing the boarding pass should be payed at the airport. Ground handling services operating at various airports do not apply the same level of consistency when checking the compliance with the airline’s rules on hand baggage and boarding passes. In Budapest the check is thorough and consistent.

No, unfortunately it is not possible to reimburse the visa application fee in case of rejection.
Fees paid apply to a single flight. Thus, prior to the return flight, it is worth modifying the services included in the booking, via the internet.

We issue two types of receipts of the fee payed: one of them is the passenger’s copy of the airline’s bill that contains the data of the flight, the other one is the receipt issued by Budport.

If you do not have checked baggage and your boarding pass is printed or saved in your mobile phone via the mobile application, then after passing through the airport security check you have to go directly to the gate for boarding. (A boarding pass saved in PDF format is not acceptable on Ukraine International Airlines flights.)
